Wine Review: Layer Cake Malbec 2008

Layer Cake MalbecListen, I know it’s hot as hell right now in most of the country, but there are still some red wines that work well in the heat. Anything from Layer Cake is fantastic. Malbec isn’t ideal for direct sun, so wait until that fireball goes down before cracking this open. Delicious with carne asada or some simple grilled steak. Dare I say it, throw a couple of ice cubes in it and some slices of apple, orange and berries for a makeshift Sangria.
